Hey guys! *waves* Tia here with the Teaser Tuesday :D It's my first one so bare with me since I'm still learnin' the ropes ^^
My teaser is going to be from Alexandra Bracken's The Darkest Minds! I figured that since In the Afterlight is coming out soon, a reread is in order ;D This book is one of my favorites soo..hope ya'll enjoy the teasersss

"Sam," I said, hating the way my voice shook. She didn't stop or deign to look at me until we were by our bunks and she had one fist curled in the bedsheets, ready to pull herself up to the top bed. 

"Say something. Please," I begged.

"You stood there," Sam's voice was low and rough, like she hadn't used it for days. "You shouldn't have," her chin came down to rest against her chest. 

Messes of hair fell over her shoulders and cheeks, hiding her expression. I felt it then, the way that the hold I had on her had suddenly sprang free. I had the strangest sensation of floating, of drifting farther and farther away, with nothing and no one to cling to. I was standing right beside her, but the distance between us had split into the kind of canyon I couldn't jump across.

My foot slipped against the rock as I stepped away, my back scraping against the wall, my head sending me spiraling into panic. It was thrilling in anticipation, relishing how close he was. Maybe his anger had evaporated, but whatever he was feeling now was stronger than before. Stronger than pain, frustration, or fury. 

Get away from me and don't were struck in my tight chest. Wedged between terror and want. Liam's lips formed my name. But there was nothing outside of the blood rushing in my ears.

5/21 Random Updates (Pre?)Wednesday Issue #4

*does a double-take at date* Ohh h-heeyyyy guysss! *rueful grin* XD Err......it's Thursday?!?! I-I thought.......it was Wednesday....? *glances around* Well then o.O *giggles and clears throat* Somehoww, I thought it was Wednesday here (and Tues for other peeps)......but apparently it's actually Thursday *pouts and frowns* Imma goingg craazzyyyy *sucks teeth* Hmmphh. XDD Well you know what time it is right?! ......*crowd nods*.......that's correct!! :D Tis Random Updates Timeeeee!! Whooopppppp! *bounces up and down* Even tho it's a day late hehe, here y'all are:

• Ohh yeaahh! We got nominated for the Liebster Award for a second time! .....even tho I'm waaayy to lazy to do it AGAIN lol......plus I can't seem to figure out who exactly nominated us except for their Twitter account *perplexed laugh* So anyhooo......thanks Jamie Clark, whoever you areee! *cracks up*

• I watched The Book Thief Movie Adaption!! I admit it wasn't quite as good as the book......okayy, nowhere near as good......XD They changed it quite a bit, I noticed, and at first Death's voice was a bit awkward, but after a while I kinda got used to it XD I was kinda disappointed that there was no apple thievin' in da movieeee tho *whines* :P The ending was pretty good! Even tho they didn't show Alex Steiner's grieving or anything o.O It just went.......2 YEARS LATER DUN DUNN DUUNNN!!!!!!!! XPP Ah wells.....we got to see Liesel and Max's reunion at da shop! :DD Yeeeyyyy!! *cheers happily*

• YOOHOOOO!!!!!!!! BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!! THE DARKEST MINDS BOOK 3 AKA IN THE AFTERLIGHT COVER HAS BEEN REVEALED!!!!!!! :DDDD *SCREAMS AND RUNS IN CIRCLES* Aaand yes the cover does have the tagline The Darkest Minds Never Fade In The Afterlight ;D You see it?? Yaahhh?! XDD Ingenious, isn't it?! *winks*

Doesn't it look awesome?!?! Not as pwetty as the Heir of Fire covers, I admit, but still xD Soooo cool in mah opinion!! :D I found it just today actually.......so now I'm kinda glad I didn't post on da the correct day *cracks up*
Eeeeekkkk! *squeals* Now we've got the covers for Opposition, Heir of Fire, AND In The Afterlight! *FIST PUMP*.......*sobers up*........now just give usss the actual books you wonderful authorsss *pointed look at three particular peeps* lol or elseee *narrows eyes* Nahhh, kiddin'! Beellleeee I watched that two days ago! :D I watched half right after I finished the book but hated it at first.. I think it was too close. Book Thief book rubbed meh raww xD The film was actually really really good though, now that I watched the whole thing.....3 months later....hehe :P The ending could have been better, I think. and I wanted the apple scene and also Rudy's teddy and bread giving scene! :( Ah wells.

OH. MY. GOSH. I LOVEEE THE IN THE AFTERLIGHT COVER, PEOPLE <333 *screams*

• Did you know they're signing Heir of Fire ARCs somewhere in New Orleans?? *sobs* WHY DON'T AUTHORS EVER COME CLOSE TO WHERE I LIVE D: So unfair.

• I think it's the international finaaalllss week too? XD All around i'm hearing things about exams. So goodluck to y'all if yours are coming uppp!! Luckily my exam results don't count for the final grade because I transferred reaaaaally late :P Can't cram 12 month's of work in 2 weeks nuh uh *shakes head vigorously*

• IT'S GETTING SOOO HOOOTTTT, AGREE? We had to turn on the A/C for the first time today!! (Not including you Aussies or other Southern Hemi people, of course XD) I opened my window and fell asleep yesterday, which was a really bad idea because NOW the pollution decides to strike up suddenly. Gee thanks. I slept through all the dust -_- Conclusion: I have a sore throat and a cold. Yayyyy. *sighs* but colds seem to be attackin everyoneee nowawdaysss..which doesn't make any sense because it's SUMMAH *pouts* 

• I find this so relateable.. Dont you? .-.

• What elseee.....OHH *snaps fingers* I knew I was forgetting something!! Last but not least, if you haven't seen it yet, here is the 4th Book of Heroes of the Olympus series by Rick Riordan...THE BLOOD OF OLYMPUS'S COVER RELEASE!!! I know I'm a bit slow but come onnn..there should be some people who haven't seen it yet!! *defensive look* Personally, I'm not TOO much of a fan of these books, but I read it ages ago and need a reread. Anyone want to join me? XD

Okey doke now into ze detailllsssss<33 (Cassafrass here, btw ^.^)

This book has one of my most favouritesttt characters in ze whole wide woorrldd! *squeals and claps together excitedly like a child* XDD 

Mah dear Liam.<3 First and only book hubby *winks* We've been together for *counts fingers* 5-6 monthss....cool. Oh oh I came up with a ship nameee: Caslie XD Strange? Or finee...*ponders* We'll get back to that.

As I probably mentioned before in another post, it's THE best dystopian book ever written. Well actually..it's not dystopian dystopian.. it's just a world with very few kids. It also has a mix of paranormal, fantasy, romance (although not overtaking, which is lovely to read), action, adventure, mystery..and the list goes on. It should be in a genre of it's own! (Like Harry Potter XD You know, I went to this bookstore once, and there were labels that said "CHILDRENS" "FANTASY" "SCI-FI" "ROMANCE" "HARRY POTTER" O.O!! *points* Living proof that HP is it's own genre. What did I tell ya ;) If I was in charge, I would also include THE DARKEST MINDS and THE BOOK THIEF, but sadly, I don't own a bookstore :( ..can you even read the books if you own a bookstore? Hm..probably not.. but still. Anyhoo, Back to reviewing/mostly fangirling and recommending this wonderfulness-filled book *clears throat* )

As told earlier, the romance was totally not overtaking. Not even a bit! That's whats so amazing about ittt... Most YA books these days... the characters know each other for 5 days maximum and they're all like trying to get each other's clothes off, which is kinda disturbing and really unrealistic. Ruby and Liam knew each other for two weeks, but the romance is slow and building..the mostly focusing on finding the Slip-Kid (You'll find out who he is when you read it). Plus hiding from the PSFs and the Children's League. o.O Such busyynesss

Ruby herself is one of my favourite YA heroines!! She's not dependent, she can take care of herself, and she's strong. Mentally and physically. I loved her! :D Actually ALL the characters were the best i've seen... Zu, our dear Japanese sister, is the cutest thing evaaaaa<333, Chubs feels like my older brother (and he could be, since I don't have any older siblings..sadly..), and Liam is perfection XD As mentioned.  Hehe *grins*

Oh if you were wondering about the paranormal aspect of the book, it's that every child who survived the IAAN (the disease- epidemic thing that killed most the children/teenagers) inherited a some sort of super-human ability. These abilities are sorted into 5 colour coded categories. The Reds, Oranges, Yellows, Blues, and Greens. I put that in the most powerful/dangerous to the least. The Reds have the ability to control fire (But the Reds don't really come out at all here... Wait till Never Fade *winks*), the Oranges possess the ability to control/erase/manipulate the human mind. The things Oranges can do really depend on the person. Apparently they're all different...o.O The Yellows (ZU!) can do some fizzly pop thingy with electricity..anything related to electrical products. The Blues (LIAM and CHUBS) have telekinesis, something I've always wanteeddd....*pouts* So unfair. and the Greens are just puzzle solvers. Code crackers. They can't really do anything X-Menish....XD 

I would be a Orange!! ^.^ Or a Blue. I dunno.. BUT I WANT A SUPERPOWER. WHY DON'T PEOPLE IN REAL LIFE HAVE SUPERPOWERS DX

The ending is heartbreaking, emotional, angercausing, and PLOT TWIST DUN DUN DUUUN!! Made me cryyyy a lott. So sad. *shakes head* You NEED Neverfade after this cliffhanger, or you'll go mad XD Not jokinggggg. 

Whelp, that's it! I really hope I convinced you to read this or somewhat..at least put this on your to-read shelves? *puppy dog eyes* Pweaaaaaassseeee? PRETTY PLEASE WITH CHOCOLATE SPRINKLES ON TOP?? READ IT. NO MORE MISSY NICE GIRL. *grabs book and thrusts it in Reader's hands*....*pushes him/her out the door* GO. 

NO WAIT!! XD I MUST TELL YOU THE AWESOMEFILLED THING I DISCOVERED EARLIER TODAY.

See, Liam and his crew travel on this lovely RV named Black Betty. Ruby and Liam bond over music that flows out of her radio. Mostly oldies, since those are the only songs allowed to be played in the radio station. GUESS WHAT I FOUND!! I DUNNO WHY I DIDN'T SEE THIS EARLIER!! If you go to this link: Darkest Minds Playlist , you can listen to a Black Betty playlist!! (the second playlist in the link) :D So whenever the book mentions that a song playin, try to scroll through the BB playlist. I'm  not sure if they have everything, but yeah.. Liam's favourite song is the Ramblin' Man by the Allmen Brothers. It's really nice :D That's the official Darkest Minds site, by the way XD Thank you Alexandra Bracckkkennn for putting that up (if you did..I'm not sure who did) <33 I JUST finished rereading it, but now I kinda want to read it again with the music... If you close your eyes, you can imagine sitting in a old beat up RV, speeding along an empty highway..with three best friends beside you... Liam singing along really loudly..*eyes glaze over* XDD This is what I love about musicc...

4/30 PreWednesday Issue#2 Random Updates Dayy!

Issue #2. Makes it sounds like some kind of newpaper XD Oh and I Luurrrrvvee the banner, Bellzie!! Looks awesome *thumbs up* I dunno how to do those kind of things *pouts*

Anyhooo, quite a few things have happened this weekk!

• We have a Twitter account now! Ta daaa *flourishes arm*:  FM's Twitter :D It was supposed to be @Fangirlingmisses, but twitter apparently thinks its too long, so it's now fangirlingmisse, without the "S", which makes no sense at all, whatsoever. Rahh. And Twitter's character limit is so short, it's really hard to actually write anything useful XD 

• HEIR OF FIRE'S NEW COVER!!!! It got released a few days ago, remembah?? I shall show it to those who haven't seen it yet on their official FB page- *pauses dramatically*....*crowd waits*....*smirks* Wait till the end of the post. *cracks up* LETS TORTURE OUR READERS XDD *crowd throws tomatoes* ...okay okay..geez so violent.   

The lovely green one on the left hand side is the US cover version, and the left is the UK's. Which do you prefer? I kind of like the UK's betterr.. the ice green/blue colour in the background is soooo pwetty. and LOOK she has a BOW!! :D CAN'T WAIT FOR IT TO COME OUT *pulls hair* GIMME. NOW. *jumps around with Belle* AHHH!!!!! :DDD *dies*

• I'm currently rereading the Darkest Minds because it's so awesome, and if you haven't read it....*puts knife to throat* READ. IT. NOW. *smiles sweetly* I personally (and lot of you should be agreeing with this statement...*shoots a look around threateningly*) think it's THE best dystopian book ever written. And I've read a lot of dystopian books. It's fresh, new, suspenseful, and the romance is slow and real unlike mostt..*cough* Not naming names XD Just remember, MY LIAM. Or i'll hunt you down in your sleep. 
• If you haven't seen the other 5 Misses around, it's because they're slacking. Chop chop, dearies XD 
• I think that's pretty much it....I should keep notes of interesting things next time o.O Can't remember anything. Maybe you can add sumfin, Bellzie or Mazza xD

2.For those of youu who owns an Apple device and frequents the iTunes Store......(and what Apple person doesn't use iTunes....COME ON!!! XPP), I'm sure you all know about the “of the Week” bargains! :P If you haven't you deserve a good facepalm. Seriously. *readies facepalm machine factory* :P
I absolutely luuuvvvvv “of the Week” specialss! *FANGIRLS* I've gotten many a book, app and song free over the last year and a half aka how long I've had an Apple *winkss* E.g. some YA books: Grave Mercy, Angel, Touch of Power, The Immortal Rules, The Goddess Test etc. (and I still haven't read most of them! XD Talking about that, I really should read them! :D)
This lovely week I checked the “Book of the Week” (I believe they update every friday.....for us Aussies, at least), and guess what popped up?! *raises eyebrows* You guessed it!! Frozen Sing-A-Long-Storybook! XDD
*pauses*

Me #1: .......noooooo........NOOOOO!!!!!!! *shakes head* Don't even think about it Belle!
Me #2: Yessssssssshhhhh! Yesssssssshhhhhh!!! You knoww you want toooo! *waggles eyebrowss*
Me #1: Shussshhhhh! NOT TRUE!!!!!!! I am a grownup! I will not rweadd a picture book........*huffs*
Me #2: But you want to.....and you will.......XD
Me #1: No.
Me #2: Yessss.
Me #1: Nooooo.
Me #2: Yessssssssssssssssssss.
Me #1: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

3. The YA book poll we had up of our fav books has ended.....yeaaahhh I knowww, it ended quite a whileeee ago, but I'm lazyyy, so I only just got around to it. *sticks out tongue*
But anyyhoooo the results aree: Lux Series, The Darkest Minds and The Infernal Devices are leading at 5 points apiece! Whooopp!! :D
Bloodlines and Divergent are tied for second on 4 points each ;D
Throne of Glass has 3 points and is sharing third place with itself..........p.s. howww dissaapointingggggg *insert Snape-like voice*..........this shows that we need to make more peeps read ToG!!! :P
Mara Dyer at 2 points.........well that's saaadd XD Mind you I've only read the very first book in the trilogy, but that first one was awesomesauceee.....:/ So idk....
And lastly, the haven't-read-any-of-them choice at 0 points......XDD *cocks head* I guess everyone has read the books then lol *rolls eyes*
