Tags tags tags....there are so many flying around all the time. We've been tagged for so many it's hard to keep up! And in most instances, we don't keep up. In fact, I have 7 tags to do after this one o.O Yup, holy smokies galore.

Today I'll be doing the TBR tag :) It's basically about sharing little tid-bits of your TBR pile (aka To Be Read pile) with your readers and tagging other people to share their TBR as well! Special thanks to the great Maisha over at Books Equal Awesomeness for tagging us (like 2 months ago now.....I told you I was behind on the tags didn't I? *guilty grin*)

How do you keep track of your TBR pile?

I, like many bloggers and readers, use the trusty Goodreads site for keeping track of all bookish things, including my TBR pile.

Is your TBR mostly print or ebook?

Ebook. While I love print books, it's way more convenient for me to read ebooks.

How do you determine which book from your TBR to read next?

If I have an urgent Netgalley book or ARC , I'll read it first, and then afterwards I usually just read whatever I feel like at the time.

A book that's been on your TBR the longest

HEIR OF FIRE!!! Yes, the third instalment of my favourite series EVER. I've sorta skimmed it (one of my worst bad bookish habits, I'm afraid) but I'm yet to read it properly and write up my review. Don't judge me *sniff* I can't help my bad habits....okay, I probably can, but still. *pouts*

A book you recently added to your TBR

I recently added Seeker to my TBR after I discovered it on Netgalley. I also received an eARC of the book via Netgalley and Random House, and I've heard that Seeker's movie rights were obtained by Columbia Pictures. So exciting and can't wait to read this one asap!

Well, I wouldn't exactly call this one beautiful, more like cute. But I'm a sucker for cute.

A book on your TBR that you never plan on reading

Both my co-bloggers couldn't stand this book, and we're usually pretty similar when it comes to bookish opinions, so I'll be steering clear of this book xD

An unpublished book on your TBR that you are excited for

ACoTaR! A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas is totally up there on my anticipated reads for 2015! Most of you should know by now that ToG is my favourite series, so another YA series from Sarah? Sign me up now!!

Yes PJO fans, I suck. And I'm sorry, I really am.

A lot of people say this is an amazing book so we'll see. Really want to read it so hopefully I'll sneak it into my informal and scrambled-up reading schedule soon. *fingers crossed*

A book that you are dying to read

In The Afterlight! TDM is another favourite series so I feel really bad I haven't read the final instalment just yet. I've just been so busy with other stuff lately and am only just getting back into a reading frenzy!

How many books are on your Goodreads TBR shelf?

Urmm.....at the moment, 800 exactly xD But that's just today. By tomorrow it'll probably jump again....it's always rising :O

The Random Questions Tag!!

We were tagged by The Book Of Jules! Go read her answers :) (*whispers* She read in the Louvre omg so lucky!)

In this tag, i'll be answering 18 random questions listed below, so y'all can know more about me! Awesome. So let's start.

1. Have you ever thrown a book?

Noooo!! I mean I wanted to yeah, but I would never hurt a book like that *sniff* 

Mostly because I read on my ipad, and the last time I threw my ipad... it refused to respond for a day (a very very long day,  I might add) so I have my reasons. That scared the heck outta me.

2. Do you like lengthy books or short books?

Depends on if the book is good or not. Because.. if you like it, you wouldn't want it to stop, but if it's mehhh then you want it to be over already! Short books do have that simple magic to them though, don't they?

3. If you don't like a book, do you stop reading it or finish it?

Again, it depends (omg I am just so good at answering these XD) of what level of "bad" it's on. If it's the 'I'll claw my eyes out if I need to read one more page' type, I'll put it down because I'm a nice person and I won't torture myself. If it's the 'this is so stupid it's kind of hilarious; I need to write a review' type, I'll push through. If it's the 'Gawwsh i'm bored to death kill me already' type, I probably won't stop reading on purpose but it'll just happen "naturally" ...AKA forget it exists after not reading a few days because it was so unmemorable. 

4. Do you stop reading when you're tired or when a chapter finishes?

When i'm tired definitely. I read real books mostly in the day and ebooks in the night (A bit opposite?) because it's easier to read on your ipad while lying down (real books will flop on your head) so I just kind of drift asleep midsentence.. I guess that counts as to 'stop reading'.. :D 

5. How do you organise your shelf?

By how much I like the book ^.^ So my favourites are on the top shelf. I don't care much about how pretty my shelf looks.. random shelving always looks best imo :P

6. Paperback or Hardcover?

Weeellll...... I love the feeling of a hardcover but paperbacks are way cheaper and they have this 'used' feeling on it :) 

7. What book can you not wait to read?

IN THE AFTERLIGHT BY ALEXANDRA BRACKEN!!! It's almost out!! It's the third and last instalment of the Darkest Minds series, which is totally awesome. I. Can't. Wait.

8. A book you wish could be turned into a graphic novel?

Hm... I don't actually read graphic novels :/ I've only read one before and that was for school.

9. A book that disappointed you?
The most recent one was The Giver by Lois Lowry. It had a great concept, but then the ending fell flaaat. 

10. What book made you cry recently?
Love and Other Unknown Variables xD Yikes. Not a pretty picture

11. Do you prefer buying books online or going to the bookstore?
I wouuuld say bookstore.. but then I've only been to a bookstore twice in my life, and those were really small. (Oh the perks of living in only non-english speaking countries before.) So most all my books come from Book Depository :) My haven!

12. Do you prefer to listen to music while reading or to read in silence?
Depends on if I'm really into the book or not. If i'm lost in the book, I love reading in silence :D If not... I just kind of dance to myself with music while reading, if that's not too weird. 

13. What is the weirdest thing you've ever experienced while reading a book?

I don't think I've experienced anyy..o.O Well I bumped into a glass door once because I was reading while walking but that's about it ^.^

14. What was your first fandom? 
Harry Potter!! I was 8 :D

15. What fictional character do you relate to the most?
Tough! Uhm.. Lilly from Puddle Jumping or Rafi from Louder Than Words . I think those are the characters I connected to a lot.

16. What fictional character do you with you were more like?
Omg Luna Lovegood! I totally worship her! I really just admire her character and independence :) Ever since I read OoTP when I was like.. 9? 10? I seriously wanted to be Luna xD But then I figured if I was trying to be like Luna, that isn't what she's about since she's being herself and i'm trying to act like her.. so then my goal was to be myself. Yes, I was a weird kid. Still am *grins* Growing old is mandatory but growing up is not. 

17. If you could spend a whole day with five characters, who would you pick?

 Luna Lovegood, if that wasn't obvious, Liam Stewart from The Darkest Minds, Adrian Ivashkov from Bloodlines (He's hilariousss), Ginny Weasley from HP, and Fred and George from HP. Dude I love the Weasley family<3

18. What is a book that exceeded all of your expectations?

Recently? Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas :D I didn't know it was going to be that good!
I'm also reading an ARC called The Walls Around Us, and it also has that creepy setting. It's really good so far :) Perfect for this Halloween mood everyone seems to be in lately!

The Bookshelf Tag!!

I've seen this tag going around of late, and I'm so happy to be tagged by my amazing new bestie (oh the joys of the blogger world :D) Fran over at My Crazy Bookish World!
You know what they say, you can never have too many tags! .....no wait, that's what I said.....with the last tag I did.....whoops! *cackles*

Well since I have practically no books, this question is pretty straight forward ;) I'd snatch my iPad and my HoF hardcopy!

The Quest Begins (Seekers #1) by Erin Hunter. I got this for my birthday a few years ago.....back when reading books about talking bears was hip :P #greattimes

My most recent read, Reclaiming the Sand is quite inspiring so I'll go with that :)

Well when I was 8, HP and the Deathly Hallows was released in the local bookstore and my parents bought a copy....it's not teechnically mine.....but I'm still claiming it anyway ;) So yeah.

Is there a book by an author that you never imagined you would read or enjoy?
Hmm not really. I tend to only pick up a book if I think I'll like it.....that's what most people do....right? o.O

20 Things You Might Not Know About Me Tag

Hey there peeps! Belle 'ere! I knoww, I'm totally bombing the blog with tags lately, but I can't help it :P .....in fact we aka the Misses still need to do the Zombie Apocalypse Book Tag and the Book Gif Tag because we got tagged for both a while ago and still haven't got around to posting it up.....and now Cass is off in Mongolia so more waiting XP

The title makes the tag obvious, so yesss, there are 20 questions which you might not know my answers to, and basically....I answer them. Simple as that :D Hehe let's do this! *rubs hands together*

Question 1: How tall are you?
*cough* Just over 5 feet. In other words, short. Very short. In fact, out of all the dancers in my dance school, I'm only as tall as the 10 year olds. It's sad xD

Question 2: Do you have a hidden talent? If so, what?
Hidden talent? *raises eyebrow* Hmm, well.....I can do this weird thing with my throat.....but I have no idea how, why or what, and I wouldn't consider it a talent anyway o.O
Ohh! I'm pretty good at memorizing things! Last year I memorized about 2/3 of the Periodic Table ;) And I'm kinda smart, if I do say so myself.....not to be cocky or anythang XDD But I did do year 11 and 12 equivalent Chemistry last year when I was 14.....tis my greatest achievement evaaaahh!

Question 3: What’s your biggest blog-related pet peeve?
 We use G+ as the comment system on FM, and it irritates me to no end when G+ somehow plays up or sumfin and refuses to let me directly answer a comment -___-

Question 4: What’s your biggest non-blog related pet peeve?
When people eat with their mouth open. Urghh. Sometimes my brother does it on purpose to annoy me, and grrrr does it work or what? >.<

Question 5: What’s your favorite song?
I don't have a favorite song because just like books, there's simply loads of cool songs coming out all the time! But the first songs/singers/bands that come to mind are:

Reading, blogging, interneting (yessss interneting is now an official word! By order of....me :P), listening to music, watching movies, dancing, the occasional video game, sleeping......*winks*

Question 8: What’s your favorite junk food?
Doritos....pizza....fried icecream....Burger Rings....buttery popcorn....yuuuummmm.

Question 9: Do you have a pet or pets? If so, what kind and what are their names?
Yesssss :) Currently (we've had loads of other pets in the past but I won't get into that XD) two cutesy female British Shorthair cats....also known as Garfield cats :P
Technically the tri-colored one, ShiShi, is my brother's, and the blue one, Cupcakes, is mine. And ShiShi is Cupcakes's mother....so I've known Cupiiiicakes all her life *grins*

Question 10: What are your number one favorite nonfiction and fiction books?
I don't read non-fiction, but my total fav fiction is Throne of Glass! <3 Aaaand my HoF copy just arrived last night! Squee!

Question 11: What’s your favorite beauty product?
*snickers* Uhhh.....sooo.....I only recently started wearing a bit of makeup now and again, so I'm more the “ohh-looksies-some-unidentifiable-branded-eyeliner! That'll do!” kinda person lol

Question 12: When were you last embarrassed? What happened?
I don't remember when the last time was, per say, but the one that sticks out most in my mind is my incredible knack of introducing myself as “my brother's BROTHER” *winces* I've done it like 3 times now! *facepalm*

Question 13: If you could only drink one beverage (besides water) for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Umm, probably Cascade Apple Isle :) I've always loved that stuff!

Question 14: What’s your favorite movie?
Whoa. Whoa whoa whoa BUDDY! You do not tell a movie fanatic to pick a favourite movie o.O That's just......meaaan. *pauses* Yeaahh that was a terrible comeback, hush. XD

Question 15: What were you in high school: prom queen, nerd, cheerleader, jock, valedictorian, band geek, loner, artist, prep?
*quirks brow* Well firstly I've been homeschooled since 2nd grade, and secondly, I don't think Aussie schools are like that. I'm pretty sure that this American high school cliché doesn't exist here.....for one we don't have football teams, which means no cheerleaders and not really any jocks *shrugs*
But if I was to self-classify, hmm......that's kinda impossible XDD I'm a little bit nerd status with how much of my time is monopolized by my school work, and I get really high scores a lot so I guess I could take a shot at valedictorian, I dance, I've done a bit of drama before and have quite a few drama friends, and my clothing style is just the way I like it. Aka really funky and fickle xD I love wearing odd bits and pieces! I must visit thrift shops when I go to America one day! They'd be like heaven to meee *beams*

Question 16: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
I'd love to visit a million different places, but as for settling down in one place, I'd want it to be somewhere nice and sunny! I hate the cold brrrrrr *shivers* The first places that come to mind are Cairns and California.

Question 17: PC or Mac?
MAC! I have one, and duuudee is it awesomesauce!

Question 18: Last romantic gesture from a crush, date, boy/girlfriend, spouse?
Don't and have never had one.....soooo o.O

Question 19: Favorite celebrity?
I don't really buy into the 'celebrity craze'......I mean, in the end they're just people like us, but if I had to pick, probably Jennifer Lawrence because I've seen some interviews on TV and she's hilarious ;)

Question 20: What blogger do you secretly want be best friends with?
That's an interesting one.....I could mention a bunch of bloggers, but I don't want to go on a craze, so I'll keep it to a few....
